The Data Management Foundation training is a self-paced course (expected 4 hours to complete) covering an introduction to key Data Management principles including roles, strategy, data governance, data quality and data architecture. It is introductory and aimed at people with no experience in data management.
It was originally developed as an all-employee course at a client and has been repurposed to be used across any organisation. It follows a fictional “PG bank” and their data strategy.
Individuals have a week to get through the course, at which point there is a quiz hosted to test them on the course content. Typical structure is as follows:
